What you'll do:
As a Security Architect, your role will be pivotal in enabling the business to adapt IT systems securely. You will provide thought leadership, offering your expertise in Security Architecture in a consultancy style. Your ability to analyse non-normative flows through systems will be crucial in identifying risks, threats, and vulnerabilities. You will deliver conceptual and logical security design abstractions, forming the Security Architecture for solutions. Your proactive approach to managing risk will ensure compliance while fostering a culture of knowledge sharing through coaching and mentoring.
- Provide thought leadership and Security Architecture subject matter expertise in a consultancy style
- Analyse non-normative flows through systems, applications and proposed solutions to identify risks, security threats and vulnerabilities
- Deliver conceptual and logical security design abstractions to form the Security Architecture for solutions
- Manage significant architectural decisions with senior management, sponsors and projects to ensure secure outcomes
- Leverage and update existing control reference patterns and develop new patterns for Enterprise security capabilities
- Proactively manage risk and assurance requirements when developing designs that change risk posture within agreed Risk Appetite
- Coach and mentor others in the practical application of security and risk management concepts, principles and strategies
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Security Architect position brings a wealth of experience from the Technology industry, specifically in Security or Solution Architecture. Your ability to provide thought leadership in a consultancy style will be highly valued. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you identify risks, threats, and vulnerabilities within systems. Your experience delivering conceptual and logical security design abstractions will be crucial in forming the Security Architecture for solutions. Your ability to manage significant architectural decisions with senior management, sponsors and projects will ensure secure outcomes.
- 10+ years experience in the Technology industry AND 2+ years Security Architecture Experience / OR 5+ years Solution Architecture Experience with significant security exposure
- Ability to provide thought leadership and Security Architecture subject matter expertise in a consultancy style
- Experience analysing non-normative flows through systems, applications and proposed solutions to identify risks, security threats and vulnerabilities
- Experience delivering conceptual and logical security design abstractions to form the Security Architecture for solutions
- Ability to manage significant architectural decisions with senior management, sponsors and projects to ensure secure outcomes
- Experience leveraging and updating existing control reference patterns and developing new patterns for Enterprise security capabilities
