System Engineer - Cyber Security Focus

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer with a focus on Cybersecurity to maintain and secure cutting-edge IT infrastructure. If you're an expert in system architecture, networking, and cybersecurity best practices, this is your chance to make an impact!

What You'll Do:

• Develop and implement security policies, protocols, and procedures.
• Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to integrate security controls.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing.
• Monitor system performance, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Lead incident investigations and refine incident response plans.

What You Bring:

• 5+ years in systems engineering with a focus on infrastructure and security.
• Expertise in operating systems (ESXi, Windows, Linux) and system administration.
• Experience with Firewalls, EDR – XDR, NDR, Security Service Edge solutions, and SIEM.
• Strong proficiency in cybersecurity practices and incident response.
• Familiarity with Entra and its security models is a plus.
