What you'll do:
As a Mobile Architect, you will be at the forefront of our client's mobile application strategy. You will lead the design and development of their iOS and Android applications while ensuring high performance, scalability, and security. Your role will involve providing technical leadership in mobile technologies, collaborating with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust solutions. You will also conduct code reviews, guide development teams, evaluate cross-platform development tools, ensure performance benchmarks are met, manage CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps, resolve complex technical issues, and maintain technical documentation.
- Lead the technical design and architecture for mobile applications (iOS, Android), ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.
- Provide technical leadership in mobile technologies, frameworks, and best practices.
- Work closely with product management, UI/UX designers, backend engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct code reviews and guide mobile development teams.
- Evaluate and implement tools like React Native, Flutter, or Xamarin for cross-platform development when necessary.
- Ensure mobile applications meet performance benchmarks and security standards.
- Design and manage the CI/CD pipeline for mobile apps.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to mobile application functionality.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
What you bring:
The ideal Mobile Architect brings a wealth of experience in the field. With a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field under your belt, you have spent at least 8 years honing your skills in mobile app development. You have hands-on experience developing iOS and Android platforms using both native (Swift, Objective-C) and hybrid (KMP, React Native) technologies. Your experience extends to leading teams or projects involving complex mobile architectures. You are familiar with backend development technologies and have experience with continuous integration/deployment. Your understanding of cloud services and mobile-specific tools like Firebase is solid, and you are comfortable working within Agile methodologies and DevOps practices. Your problem-solving abilities are strong, and your communication skills are excellent.

- At least 8 years of experience in mobile app development.
- At least 2 years as a Mobile Architect.
- Experience in developing iOS and Android platforms using native (Swift, Objective-C) and hybrid (KMP, React Native) technologies.
- Experience leading teams or projects involving complex mobile architectures.
- Familiarity with backend development technologies (APIs, databases).
- Experience with continuous integration/deployment.
- Understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and mobile-specific tools like Firebase.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
