Software Technical Lead (AI Start-up)
USA Global team | Vietnam-based engineering hub

Own and drive the technical roadmap end-to-end, from ideation to execution, aligning with global stakeholders while enabling the Vietnam team to operate independently - technical wise
Lead & mentor a team of ~5 senior engineers while remaining hands-on in architecture, coding, and platform engineering
Participate actively in technical design, system architecture, and key engineering decisions to ensure scalability, performance, and reliability
Leverage AI tools (e.g., code-generation AI, workflow automation) to optimize engineering productivity and development processes
Foster a high-performance, ownership-driven culture with strong energy, technical excellence, and a passion for building and growing teams

8+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, ideally in fast-growing start-ups with global, cross-functional collaboration
Proven experience leading a team of senior engineers (~4-5 people) while staying deeply technical and execution-focused
Strong expertise in Python (must-have) and familiar with other modern languages & stacks within platform engineering, and applying AI tools to improve engineering efficiency and workflows
Solid system design and architectural skills, with the ability to define and execute a scalable technical vision and roadmap
Demonstrated ability to work independently with strong product ownership, especially when collaborating with HQ/global teams
Experience driving engineering initiatives across teams and influencing decisions at an organizational level
Strong leadership presence: technically solid, high-energy, and motivated to build, mentor, and grow high-performing teams
