Senior React Engineer (a product company)

We are seeking outstanding Senior React Engineers to join one of the Silicon Valley startups. This is a full-time, on-site position in Hanoi or HCMC.

About the Senior React Engineer Role:

As a Frontend Engineer, you will be responsible for creating large-scale Single Page Applications (SPA) that can be used directly by web users or integrated with major platforms like Slack or Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Team, ORACLE, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will be expected to contribute large amounts of code using best practices and technologies to create a variety of large-scale SPAs that interface with the backend and different types of users.
• They will also deliver high-quality code, participate in design discussions, code reviews, and group brainstorming sessions, troubleshoot existing codebases, and perform benchmarking, performance, and security analysis.
• In addition, the candidate will lead and manage a team of 2-4 engineers, interview candidates, be involved in hiring decisions, and mentor and train junior software engineers

To succeed in this role, you must have good communication skills in English.

Key Requirements:

• The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML, and CSS, 1+ years of experience in modern web development, and previous product company experience.
• They should also have a good computer science background, experience in responsive web and mobile-first applications, experience in CSS frameworks and tools, and an understanding of REST APIs and client-server communication.
• A TOEIC score of 700+ or equivalent is also required. Additional experience with JS frameworks like React.js or Vue.js, NodeJS and npm, ECMAScript 6 or TypeScript or Node.js, frontend building tools like Webpack and npm, building JavaScript SDK and Web Widget, unit testing frameworks, web application optimization and securities, and user behavior tracking using analytics tools like Mixpanel and Google Analytics is considered an extra bonus.
