Backend Tech Lead

What You’ll Do

• Lead & Mentor: Manage a team of 5–8 engineers, driving technical excellence and team performance.

• Set Technical Direction: Guide architecture and development of features in a modern, microservices-based environment.

• Build Scalable Systems: Develop reliable, high-performance APIs for high-volume, low-latency financial transactions.

• Drive Agile Delivery: Own requirement analysis and agile execution for fast, efficient change delivery.

• Align Stakeholders: Collaborate on APIs, security, compliance, and system reliability across teams.
  
  What You Bring

• 8+ years in software development (strong candidates with fewer years welcome to apply).

• 3+ years hands-on experience with Java & Spring Framework in enterprise-scale environments.

• Deep expertise in system design for scalability, performance, and uptime.

• Proven experience with microservices and event-driven architecture.

• Solid command of database architecture for large-scale financial or transactional systems.

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP preferred).

• Practical understanding of full SDLC in fast-paced, agile product teams.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related technical field.
