Principal Software Engineer (Fullstack)

About Company: AI Start-up. We are hiring a "mini" hands-on CTO who takes full product ownership & act as the main engineer in a dedicated customer pod (with a support engineer, QA, designer, and PM). This person owns technical delivery end-to-end for a customer’s product – closer to a founding engineer than a standard feature developer.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end development of fullstack systems from design to production and long-term maintenance.

• Build and scale production-ready features across frontend, backend, database, and cloud.

• Design, integrate, and debug APIs with a strong focus on reliability and performance.

• Apply LLM APIs into real product features, working with prompts, context, and error handling.

• Translate ambiguous product requirements into clear technical plans and shipped solutions.

What You’ll Need to Apply

• 6+ years of hands-on software engineering experience at Senior/ Principal/ Staff IC level. Strong coder.

• Strong fullstack background with React (Next.js a plus), backend in Go or similar (Java, C#, Rust), and Postgres [backend experience is more emphasized here)

• Practical experience deploying and running systems on AWS or GCP.

• Proven track record owning production systems end-to-end, not just isolated features.

• Startup mindset: high ownership, comfort with ambiguity, strong communication skills in English
