Engineering Manager (Well-known E-commerce company)

The role involves leading and managing a team of around 15 people in Software Engineering, Quality Control, and DevOps teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and efficient technological products and platforms.

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Engineering, QC, and DevOps teams to deliver best-in-class software products and services.
• Collaborate closely with Business Units (BUs): Understand BU pain points, strategic goals, and operational needs to identify opportunities and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Design and Architect Scalable Solutions: Lead the design of applications and platforms that support business growth, scalability, and efficiency, aligning technical architecture with business strategy

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in software development, with significant experience in engineering leadership roles.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional tech teams (Engineering, QA, DevOps)
• Demonstrated experience working directly with business stakeholders: Proven ability to understand business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and design impactful solutions.
• Experience or demonstrable interest in leveraging AI tools and techniques within the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Strong background in backend/frontend development, testing frameworks, and cloud infrastructure

• Great English communication (written and verbal) and proactive way of working and dealing with stakeholders internally & externally
