An exciting Business Development Director job has arisen in a leading firm in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
About the Business Development Director Role:
Our client is an AI and data focus fast-growing organisation across the ASEAN region. They are a tech company working with clients around the world providing digital marketing products & solutions related to marketing analytics and e-commerce. With operations across 10+ markets in ASEAN, they are partnering with well recognised brands driving their digital transformation.
- You will be assigned a quarterly and yearly sales quota for selling Marketing technology services, and you will work to meet or exceed it
- • You will use your contacts and network to generate pipelines, as well as collaborate with lead generation and our partners to build it up
- You'll collaborate with pre-sales / consultant teams as well as technology / UX teams to produce proposals that are unique to each customer. You will endeavour to understand the client's business concerns and establish a right to win, as well as cultivate the necessary relationships to advance the lead across the organisation
- You'll lead sales huddles to discuss how to build deals, price them, and find the proper individuals to make them appealing to clients and easy to close. You will create a sales plan and work to ensure that it is followed.
- You'll devise a strategy for achieving your sales objective. This will cover how you plan to meet the goal, the pipeline you'll build together, and how you'll ensure closing
To succeed in this role, you must have a demonstrated track record of reaching or exceeding sales targets.
- Five years of experience in the digital industry, either as a product provider, an agency, a consultant, a system integrator, or a client
- Demonstrated ability to generate your own funnel in addition to receiving pipeline from marketing/partners.
- Proven expertise selling major deals, relationship mapping, and long-tail deal structuring
- Previous experience selling and working with marketing technology and/or the services associated with it (for example SaaS products, DXP, CDP or Conversion Rate Optimisation, CRM)
- Domain knowledge in one or more of the following verticals (banking, telecommunications, insurance, retail / FMCG, and government / GLC) that can help you sell more effectively
