Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Accountant to oversee their financial and accounting operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliance with group, statutory, and tax regulations while maintaining accurate financial records. What you'll do:

As the Chief Accountant, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial and accounting operations. Your responsibilities will include processing vendor invoices, managing payment runs, handling staff reimbursements, and ensuring adherence to group, statutory, legal, and tax reporting requirements. You will also manage statutory audits to ensure their timely completion. Your role will extend to executing group reporting, intra-group reconciliations, provisions, and accruals. Furthermore, you will provide essential financial reports including inventory valuation, cost accounting, and fixed asset records. A key part of your role will involve overseeing collaborations with outsourced partners.

  • Process vendor invoices and manage payment runs
  • Handle staff reimbursements and corporate card transactions
  • Ensure adherence to group, statutory, legal, and tax reporting requirements
  • Manage statutory audits and ensure timely completion
  • Execute group reporting, intra-group reconciliations, provisions, and accruals
  • Provide financial reports including inventory valuation, cost accounting, and fixed asset records
  • Oversee and collaborate with outsourced partners

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Minimum 2 years of accounting experience with a Chief Accountant certificate
  • At least 3 years of Order-to-Cash experience including LC handling
  • Strong knowledge of local statutory regulations (e-invoicing, tax, financial reporting)
  • Proficiency in SAP and financial systems
  • High attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment
  • Fluency in Vietnamese and English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Ability to work in a global corporate environment and collaborate across teams
