FP&A Analyst (Assistant Manager level, Manufacturing)

An exciting opportunity awaits for a FP&A Analyst (Assistant Manager level), based near Ho Chi Minh City with shuttle bus provided. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, this role will provide key support to the financial reporting, planning and analysis, as well as budgeting and forecast process of the business; whilst working as a Finance Business Partner to operation teams.

Strategic Planning & Financial Oversight

• Lead the planning and strategic direction of departmental and project initiatives.
• Manage financial operations including month-end closing, forecasting, budgeting, compliance, and internal controls.
• Drive process and project improvements to enhance operational efficiency and financial performance.

Operational Excellence

• Oversee the cost-effectiveness and smooth functioning of operating systems and programs.
• Monitor project milestones and outcomes to identify procedural enhancements that align with organizational goals.
• Coordinate the preparation and timely distribution of financial management reports.

Analytical & Reporting Expertise

• Conduct financial analyses and studies as requested by leadership.
• Ensure all financial reports and disclosures adhere to regulatory standards, professional guidelines, and company policies.
• Analyze variances in forecasts and actuals, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management.

Profitability & Business Support

• Develop and implement strategies to improve profitability and financial health.
• Support the preparation of Authorization for Expenditure (AFE) documents in collaboration with other departments.
• Contribute to strategic planning efforts across functions, offering data-driven recommendations.

Leadership & Collaboration

• Demonstrate integrity and proactively address potential concerns from management, auditors, and stakeholders.
• Stay informed of evolving requirements and communicate relevant updates to leadership.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Lead or participate in cross-functional process improvement initiatives, applying Six Sigma tools where applicable.
• Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance business processes.

Investment & Pricing Analysis

• Conduct ongoing evaluations of investments, acquisitions, divestitures, and other financial opportunities.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on new business ventures, highlighting key variances and strategic implications.
• Assess product pricing strategies to optimize profitability and recommend necessary adjustments.

Safety & Compliance

• Uphold safety and environmental standards, promoting hygiene and workplace safety awareness.
• Complete 5S audits in accordance with company policy.
• Perform “Near Miss” audits as required to ensure proactive risk management.
