Finance Analyst (MNC Manufacturing)
Our client is seeking a Finance Analyst to join their team in Ho Chi Minh. This role is pivotal in overseeing the development and coordination of the plant’s financial plans, controlling operational costs, and contributing to initiatives aimed at enhancing overall performance. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a complex manufacturing environment, providing essential product costing data and aligning with Group standards.
What you'll do:
As a Finance Analyst, your role will be central to the financial planning and control of our client's manufacturing operations. You will support the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, and conduct detailed variance analyses. Your expertise will be crucial in providing essential product costing data, collaborating with cross-functional teams to explore new business opportunities, and ensuring alignment with business strategy. You will also serve as the main contact for HQ teams, manage all industrial financial reporting for Plant Management, and liaise with External Auditors during fiscal year-end reviews.
- Prepare and analysis of monthly financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, and KPIs.
- Oversee the Budget and Forecast processes.
- Conduct monthly variance analysis comparing actual outcomes to the plan.
- Provide essential product costing data, aligning with Group standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to explore new business opportunities.
- Ensure alignment with business strategy and propose actions to enhance plant cost efficiency.
- Serve as the main contact for HQ teams and standardize business reporting practices.
- Manage all industrial financial reporting for Plant Management.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Management Engineering.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
- 3-5 years experience in a similar capacity within a manufacturing environment.
- Extensive experience in Controlling within multinational manufacturing companies or auditing/consulting firms.
- Strong accounting expertise (familiarity with IFRS is an advantage).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Hyperion), specifically SAP Material Ledger.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Results-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
- Proactive communication skills.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
