They are expanding their operations in Vietnam and seeking a dynamic Country Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to drive their people strategy and support business growth.

What you'll do:

As the Country Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), your role will be pivotal in driving the people strategy of our client's expanding operations in Vietnam. You will be instrumental in developing HR strategies that align with business objectives while fostering an inclusive workplace culture. Your expertise will be relied upon for insights on workforce planning, talent acquisition, retention strategies, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and more. You will also ensure compliance with local labour laws while overseeing HR policies, compensation & benefits, payroll processes, and providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align HR strategies with business goals and drive organisational effectiveness.
  • Provide insights and recommendations on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on HR-related matters, including performance management, leadership development, and succession planning.
  • Lead talent acquisition initiatives to attract, hire, and retain top talent in Vietnam.
  • Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that reflects the company's values.
  • Ensure compliance with Vietnam labour laws and company policies, advising management on legal risks and best practices.
  • Oversee HR policies, compensation & benefits, and payroll processes in collaboration with the regional HR team.
  • Utilise HR analytics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to workforce trends, turnover, and engagement.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Country Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) role brings a wealth of HR experience, with a proven track record in strategic HR roles within international companies. Your strong knowledge of Vietnam labour laws and HR best practices will be crucial in this role. You have demonstrated success in talent management, organisational development, and employee engagement. Your excellent communication skills, stakeholder management abilities, and problem-solving skills set you apart. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and bring a hands-on approach to your work. Fluency in English and Vietnamese is required.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8+ years of HR experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic HRBP role within an international company.
  • Strong knowledge of Vietnam labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven track record in talent management, organisational development, and employee engagement.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach.
  • Fluency in English and Vietnamese.
