What you'll do:
As a Senior Human Resources Operations Specialist based in Ho Chi Minh City’s central business district, you will be entrusted with end-to-end responsibility for core HR functions that underpin the company’s success. Your day-to-day activities will span compensation & benefits management—working closely with both local managers and global headquarters—to ensure fair policies are developed and executed effectively. You will maintain accurate staff records while providing expert guidance on labour law compliance. Payroll administration will be under your remit; you’ll process monthly payments for both local employees and expatriates while handling statutory reporting obligations. Your analytical skills will help control personnel costs within set budgets. Beyond operational excellence, you’ll drive employee engagement by designing recognition programmes that reinforce organisational values. Supporting the HRIS system will require attention to detail as you audit data integrity and recommend enhancements. This multifaceted role offers variety each day—whether advising colleagues on policy matters or collaborating across departments to deliver seamless HR services—ensuring your impact is felt throughout the organisation.
- Collaborate with managers and global headquarters to develop and execute policies related to compensation, safety, welfare, and wellness for all employees.
- Support the implementation of compensation and benefits policies, reward and recognition programmes, health care packages, insurance schemes, and other employee welfare initiatives.
- Prepare data for salary reviews and manage comprehensive staff databases including labour contracts, timekeeping records, and required documentation.
- Advise employees on labour regulations, collective agreements, personnel procedures, benefits, and compensation policies with clarity and empathy.
- Monitor changes in labour laws to ensure full legal compliance across all HR processes while investigating concerns and coordinating corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee payroll operations including monthly payroll processing for local and expatriate staff, personal income tax declarations, social insurance administration, bonuses, and statutory reporting.
- Analyse personnel costs to align with budgetary requirements while managing internal payroll reports and collaborating with external vendors for tax matters.
- Create initiatives that foster organisational culture by developing employee engagement strategies aligned with business objectives in partnership with general administration teams.
- Provide technical support for the HR information system (HRIS), ensuring data integrity through daily audits, troubleshooting issues, implementing improvements, and generating regular reports.
- Participate in additional HR projects or duties as assigned to support the continuous improvement of people operations.
