Ho Chi Minh City - Thu Duc - Hospitality and F&B

Our client, a Boutique Hospitality group, is looking for a Legal Manager who will oversee all Legal, Compliance and Risk Management of the group. This role will further develop into taking care of the HR function in the near future.

What you will do:

  • Ensure the Group's operations comply with local, state and other relevant set of Labor laws
  • Responsible for the management of Legal and Risk Management function
  • Review Legal and HR documentations of the company
  • Working with the Labor authorities and obtain the required licenses
  • Keep track and updated on Employment regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage and maintain accurate legal documentation for employee records, including contracts and performance evaluations.
  • Serve as a mediator for legal concerns and conflict resolution, promoting a respectful and communicative workplace environment.
  • Handle disciplinary measures with legal guidelines when required.
  • Responsible for good corporate governance and legal compliance of the company
  • Evaluate compensation practices and manage benefits programs to ensure equitable pay and compliance with wage laws.
  • Promote health and safety by implementing wellness programs and ensuring staff are knowledgeable about safety protocols and regulations
  • Work with the Corporate Office to develop the company

What you will bring:

  • Background in Law with at least 5 years of Legal experience specialised in Corporate, Employment, Labor, Entreprise and Commercial Laws.
  • Previous experience in Law Firm combined with an in-house experience in Hospitality / F&B / Real Estate
  • Previous experience supporting HR Department would be a plus
  • Fast-paced and pro-active mindset to work in demanding environment
  • Ability to meet tight dealines with limited resources.
  • Full proficiency in both English and Vietnamese.
