Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced National Sales Manager to join their team in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This role is pivotal in optimising the performance of their distributor partner, maintaining commercial excellence within the external sales organisation, and being accountable for the country sales forecast delivery and SF performance. The successful candidate will focus on sales effectiveness, strategic planning, and external distributor account management, with no direct interaction with end customers. This role demands a continuous challenge to existing practices, suggesting improvements, benchmarking, and initiating new projects.

What you'll do: As a National Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies that align with our client's annual revenue, market share, and profitability targets. You will work closely with the distribution management team to create training materials that meet the specific needs of the sales team. Your responsibilities will also include monitoring and analysing sales performance metrics to assess progress towards goals. Additionally, you will prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans. A key part of your role will be leading change management efforts related to sales force effectiveness initiatives.
Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve annual revenue, market share, and profitability targets
Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer behaviour to identify growth opportunities
Work alongside distribution management to co-create comprehensive training materials
Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, KPIs, and trends to assess progress

You have previously held roles such as National Sales Manager or BU head. Your strong leadership abilities are evident in your track record of inspiring teams to achieve sales targets. Your strong business acumen and strategic thinking capabilities will be key in this role.
12-15 years of working experience in sales function, preferably in Consumer Healthcare / Pharma OTC / FMCG
Prior experience as National Sales Manager or BU head is required
