An exciting opportunity has arisen for a seasoned Business Development Manager to join a leading organisation in the lubricant industry. This role is perfect for professionals who are passionate about sales and customer relationship management, and are looking to further their career within this dynamic sector.

What you'll do:

As a Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to manage key distributor relationships, ensuring they consider our client as their preferred business partner. You will spend a significant portion of your time visiting customers alongside distributor sales representatives, providing them with valuable coaching on various competencies. Your role will also involve conducting quarterly business reviews with the core leadership teams of both the distributor and our client. A crucial part of your role will be ensuring that each distributor/customer is clear on the annual business plan, aligning it with their financial capacity and performance. You will also ensure that our client provides an optimal level of service to both distributors/customers and support functions.

  • Agree, monitor and achieve sales targets for both new and existing Customers and Distributors.
  • Spend 60% of time on joining customer visits with distributor sales reps, coaching the team on Sales, CVP, Marketing competencies and technical aspects.
  • Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with Core Leadership Team of both Distributor and the company.
  • Ensure that each Distributor / Customer is clear and aligned to the annual business plan.
  • Ensure the company is providing the optimized level of service to both distributors / customers and support functions.
  • Develop and maintain strong and meaningful relationship and partnership with all distributors’ owners and key customers stakeholders.
  • Ensure Internal alignment between Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Credit.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in managing B2C sales growth within the lubricants or associated automotive/chemical business. With at least 4-5 years of proven success in similar roles, you understand what it takes to manage key customer relationships and drive sales growth. Your strong understanding of roles and accountabilities within Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Credit departments will be crucial in this role. You are also adept at developing fit-for-purpose implementation programs for distributors/customers.

  • Minimum degree/ Diploma.
  • Requires a minimum of 4 to 5 years proven and successful sales experience managing B2C sales growth in the lubricants, associated automotive / chemical business.
  • Good hold in North & Central of Vietnam.
  • Proven ability to manage key customer relationships.
  • Strong understanding of roles and accountabilities within Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Credit departments.
  • Ability to develop fit for purpose implementation programs for distributors / customers.
