Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to join their team in Ha Noi. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a sales team and collaborate with distribution partners to deliver sustainable growth for the business. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on diverse projects, gain exposure to experienced professionals, and potentially take on international assignments.

What you'll do:

As an Area Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of driving sustainable growth for our client's business. You will oversee key distributors in your area, manage credit risks, and achieve assigned targets. Your leadership skills will be crucial as you provide coaching and guidance to your Sales Supervisor team. You will also work closely with the Business Development & Trade Deployment team to develop operational plans and ensure that brand programs are executed effectively. Innovation is key in this role as you drive the development of trade programs to maintain a competitive edge.

  • Oversee the management of key distributors in the respective area
  • Facilitate the development of a 3-month demand planning for the responsible area
  • Manage credit risk allocated for the respective area
  • Achieve assigned targets, including volume, distribution, etc. at the area level
  • Provide coaching and guidance to the Sales Supervisor team
  • Develop operational plans and ensure execution of brand programs according to plan
  • Maintain strong business relationships with trade partners
  • Drive innovation in the development of trade programs

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Area Sales Manager role brings a wealth of experience in Trade Marketing/Sales within a sizeable FMCG company. You possess strong commercial acumen, understanding industry trends, market conditions, and how different business units interrelate. Your stakeholder management skills are top-notch; you can effectively identify stakeholder needs and influences while managing relationships confidently. Your experience in planning, designing, and executing trade activation programs will be invaluable in this role. Additionally, your ability to analyse operational processes and identify areas for improvement will contribute significantly towards maintaining efficiency.
