What you'll do:

As Country Sales Manager, you will be entrusted with driving business expansion across Vietnam by identifying new opportunities for growth while nurturing existing client relationships. Your day-to-day activities will involve travelling extensively within your territory to engage directly with customers—both current accounts and prospects—ensuring their needs are met through tailored solutions. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from various departments to gather project intelligence and coordinate efforts on large-scale deals. In addition to managing your own portfolio of clients, you will also play an instrumental role in supporting the professional development of your team members by offering mentorship and sharing best practices. Your ability to prepare detailed reports on market activity will inform strategic decisions at senior levels.   • Prospect target customers throughout Vietnam by conducting regular visits to raise market awareness and establish lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement national or branch sales business plans in alignment with regional objectives, ensuring all activities contribute towards achieving annual sales budgets.
  • Organise and lead trips to potential and existing customers independently or alongside management, including hosting technical seminars and formal presentations on product offerings.
  • Engage directly with clients to understand their unique requirements, map out decision-making processes, and tailor proposals that exceed expectations.
  • Prepare clear, logical, and comprehensive reports detailing customer interactions, trip outcomes, and market intelligence for management review.
  • Collaborate closely with other sales professionals and departments to gather insights on high-value projects and ensure seamless communication across business units.
  • Support the preparation and follow-up of quotations and tenders through to successful order placement while providing constructive feedback if orders are not secured.
  • Work hand-in-hand with sales support teams on both commercial and technical matters to deliver exceptional service throughout the customer journey.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to external sales representatives in Vietnam, fostering skill development within the team.
  • Represent the company at major industry fairs and events, enhancing brand visibility while networking with end users, engineering firms, distributors/resellers, and OEMs.

  • A valid driver’s licence is required due to frequent travel demands associated with this field-based position.
