Head of Data Engineering

Reporting to CEO, you, as a visionary Head of Data Engineering, are expected to lead the arcthiecture of data & empower the fast-growing team of data/ML engineers

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute company data strategy
• Lead data governance, privacy, and compliance
• Build modern data infrastructure (data lakes, vector DBs, feature stores)
• Drive AI/ML model deployment and integration
• Transition analytics to real-time, intelligent systems using LLMs and RAGs
• Champion data literacy and responsible AI innovation

Requirements

• 10+ years in data, analytics, or AI/ML roles; 5+ years in leadership position, ideally serving Data Engineering Manager
• Experience managing, empowering & leading teams from 10 members
• Proven success in deploying AI/ML models at scale
• Deep expertise in LLMs, RAGs, vector databases, and MLOps
• Strong strategic thinking and executive communication, excellent communications skills (with English too)
• Nice to have experience within e-commerce, FMCG, Retail, Consumer industry
