Senior Embedded Engineer (C++, Linux)

What you'll do:

• Gathering, creating, and overseeing requirements for software components.
• Following internal procedures for developing new products.
• Designing and implementing intricate software subsystems and complete systems within larger embedded products, adhering to software engineering best practices.
• Making independent design decisions, validating them collaboratively, and leading in-depth technical discussions.
• Troubleshooting designs and effectively collaborating with the Validation and Verification team.
• Analyzing and comparing competitor products.

What you'll need:

• Hold a degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science
• Strong understanding of software development, embedded systems, including hardware and microprocessor units (MPUs).
• 5+ years of experience in C/C++ 17, Python, and various scripting languages.
• Experienced with Linux user space programming and debugging.
• Knowledgeable in Linux kernel space and driver programming, including device drivers for I2C, SPI, and Ethernet.
• Familiar with the Yocto project.
• Proficient with common development tools like GIT, Jenkins, and CMAKE.
• Skilled in using developer tools such as debuggers and oscilloscopes.
• Possesses strong interpersonal skills, teamwork abilities, attention to detail, flexibility, creativity, proactivity, and project management skills.
• Demonstrates problem-solving abilities, open-mindedness, and the ability to anticipate needs and potential technical issues during development.
• Shows initiative, ownership, and commitment, maintaining a consistently high level of productivity.
