Finance Director (International Services)

A prominent international services group is seeking a Finance Director to lead its finance function in Vietnam, based in Ho Chi Minh City. Reporting directly to the General Director with a dotted line to the Regional CFO, you will shape financial strategy and drive operational excellence. As a key member of the executive leadership team, you will play a pivotal role in guiding business performance and fostering growth, while continuing to develop a high-performing finance team.

What you'll do:
• Lead the overall finance function, ensuring robust financial governance, compliance and operational excellence.
• Oversee accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, local statutory requirements and Group policies.
• Partner closely with the General Director and leadership team on strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and business decision-making.
• Drive financial performance through effective working capital management, treasury, cash flow optimisation and profitability improvement initiatives.
• Strengthen internal controls, risk management and corporate governance across the organisation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, tax authorities and other external stakeholders.
• Lead business improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes, operational efficiency and organisational performance.
• Develop, mentor and inspire a high-performing finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with Regional and Global Finance teams to implement strategic initiatives and finance best practices.

What you bring:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; CPA, ACCA or equivalent professional qualification is highly preferred.
• 15+ years’ work experience in well-rounded Finance and Accounting scope within multinational organisations.
• Strong expertise in financial reporting, management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, internal controls and corporate governance, with solid knowledge of IFRS and Vietnamese statutory regulations.
• Proven track record of partnering with senior business leaders to drive commercial performance and strategic business growth.
• Demonstrated success leading and developing large finance teams within a multinational, matrix environment.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence executive leadership at both local and regional levels.
• Commercially astute, analytical and solutions-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
