Accounting Manager (Chinese speaking)

What you'll do:

• Organise, assign, direct, and oversee the accounting department and warehouse accounting functions to ensure compliance with legal regulations and alignment with business activities.
• Manage the preparation of accounting reports, financial statements, tax filings, statistical data, journal entries, inventory checks, and final settlements according to government requirements.
• Develop and maintain systems for managing books, documents, and accounting records in accordance with state regulations.
• Analyse and forecast the company's current financial situation to provide valuable insights for decision-making.
• Advise senior management on capital allocation plans, determine appropriate capital structures for specific periods, and help establish policies regarding salaries, bonuses, payments, economic contracts, and fixed asset management.
• Provide forecasts and support management in risk prevention within business operations or help prevent violations related to finance and accounting.
• Calculate and effectively manage production costs to ensure accurate pricing strategies for the company.
• Liaise with government authorities, inspection teams regarding accounting records and taxes, as well as auditors and banks when required.
• Oversee annual tax finalisation processes to ensure full compliance with statutory obligations.
• Take responsibility for preparing comprehensive financial reports for both local management and the parent company.

What you bring:

• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese (listening, speaking, reading, writing), including simplified characters; candidates of Chinese or Taiwanese descent or Vietnamese nationals are welcome.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting or related fields such as Corporate Accounting or Auditing; Chief Accountant certification is considered an advantage.
• At least 2 years’ experience as Chief Accountant or Head of Accounting (preferably within a manufacturing environment).
• Comprehensive understanding of financial regulations, accounting standards, taxation laws, accounting practices, and relevant legislation.
• Proficiency with office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with network systems and Misa accounting software is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to organise teams effectively while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Experience preparing detailed financial statements, tax returns, cost calculations for production environments, and handling year-end audits.
• Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data sets and providing actionable recommendations to management.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with government agencies, auditors, banks, and internal stakeholders alike.
• Commitment to fostering collaboration within teams while maintaining integrity in all aspects of financial management.
