What you'll do:

As Head of Finance in Ho Chi Minh, you will be entrusted with shaping the financial direction of the organisation while acting as a trusted advisor to both operations and supply chain teams. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with cross-functional leaders to deliver on ambitious growth targets through rigorous financial planning and insightful analysis. You will oversee all aspects of performance management from budgeting to forecasting while ensuring compliance with group accounting policies and statutory requirements. By leveraging your expertise in digitalisation and automation, you will streamline FP&A processes—enabling faster decision-making supported by real-time data. Your ability to communicate complex financial information clearly will be essential as you present findings to executive stakeholders. In addition to driving cost control initiatives across plant operations and supply chain finance functions, you will play a crucial role in building a high-performing team dedicated to continuous improvement. Success in this role requires not only technical proficiency but also a passion for developing others within an inclusive environment that values collaboration.

  • Serve as the senior finance leader and core business partner to operations and supply chain teams, providing forward-looking insights that support EBITDA, working capital, and free cash flow targets.
  • Drive delivery of significant cost-savings and productivity initiatives by implementing robust financial governance frameworks and strategic planning methodologies.
  • Act as a key member of the regional leadership team, collaborating closely with the general manager to drive business growth and operational excellence.
  • Provide clear recommendations based on comprehensive financial insights to inform executive decision-making at both local and regional levels.
  • Build, develop, and upgrade the local finance team by fostering a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the function.
  • Communicate effectively with corporate and regional stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial objectives and business strategies.
  • Support business expansion initiatives by delivering actionable financial analysis that underpins investment decisions.
  • Own end-to-end performance management processes including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, multi-year strategic plans, monthly management reporting, business reviews, and executive presentations.
  • Lead variance analysis (actual versus budget/forecast), identifying key drivers, risks, opportunities, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
  • Champion digitalisation of FP&A processes by implementing business intelligence tools such as Power BI, automating free cash flow reporting, and introducing advanced analytics for profitability analysis.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or finance; CPA or ACCA qualification or equivalent is highly desirable for this position.
  • At least five years’ experience in a senior finance role with proven exposure to multinational environments is required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic recommendations based on thorough financial analysis supporting business objectives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a track record of effective communication across corporate and regional stakeholders are essential for success.
  • Experience leading end-to-end performance management processes including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and executive reporting is necessary.
  • Comprehensive understanding of supply chain finance including standard costing, manufacturing overhead control, product line profitability analysis is important.
  • Ability to lead audits (internal/external), manage compliance with group accounting policies/local statutory requirements is expected.
  • Proven capability in building high-performing teams focused on analytics, business partnering, operational finance; experience managing succession/talent development is advantageous.
