Finance Manager (Trading and Services)

A leading organisation in Ho Chi Minh City is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee accounting and financial operations across multiple offices within the trading and service sector.

What you'll do:

• Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for country managers and regional executives, supporting high-level commercial decisions through clear communication and collaborative analysis.
• Oversee financial consolidation across multiple offices, ensuring timely delivery of monthly and quarterly regional reporting packages that comply with IFRS and local standards.
• Supervise the accounting team across various branches, maintaining accuracy in general ledger management, tax compliance, cash flow monitoring, and working capital optimisation.
• Lead annual budgeting processes, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis to track performance against regional targets while fostering a culture of shared responsibility.
• Maintain robust internal financial controls by coordinating effectively with external auditors and tax authorities, ensuring all regulatory requirements are met with precision.
• Act as a dependable business partner to senior leadership by providing insightful presentations that influence strategic direction and encourage communal decision-making.
• Support the implementation of ERP systems across branches, enhancing efficiency through knowledge sharing and collaborative problem-solving.
• Promote inclusive practices within the finance team by nurturing talent through ongoing training opportunities and encouraging inter-personal connections.
• Monitor cash flow trends across multiple sites, identifying areas for improvement through empathetic analysis and considerate recommendations.
• Champion compliance initiatives by developing policies that reflect sensitivity to local regulations while upholding international standards.

What you bring:

• Experience: 10+ years in finance/accounting, with minimum 3 years in a managerial role. Experience in Trading, Distribution, or Service sectors is required.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting; ACCA, CPA, or CMA certification is highly preferred.

• Qualifications: Chief Accountant certificate is required.

• Technical Skills: Proven expertise in multi-entity consolidation and group reporting. Strong command of regional reporting frameworks and ERP systems.

• Communication: Fluent English with excellent presentation skills, capable of confidently influencing and collaborating with high-level decision-makers.
