Finance and Accounting Manager (manufacturing)
A leading manufacturer in Long An Province is seeking a Finance and Accounting Manager to join their team. This role offers you the opportunity to play a pivotal part in supporting local plant management and regional financial management, ensuring the smooth operation of all financial activities, transactions, and processes within the manufacturing site.
Beyond traditional finance, you will drive cross-departmental cost reductions, design tailored internal controls, and lead audit compliance. You will also actively support risk assessments, cross-functional projects, and resource management. Success requires both technical expertise and a collaborative spirit dedicated to team goals.
Core responsibilities include:

Lead the preparation, accuracy, and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with local accounting standards (VAS) and IFRS.

Coordinate the year-end closing process and compile comprehensive annual financial statements for corporate leadership and external stakeholders.

Provide deep-dive financial analysis on plant performance, variances, and operational KPIs to support strategic decision-making.

Drive the product costing framework, analyze manufacturing variances (material, labor, and overhead), and pinpoint areas for waste reduction.

Establish and monitor rigorous cost controlling measures across production lines, inventory valuation, and supply chain logistics.

Partner with operations and plant management to develop, monitor, and manage annual budgets and rolling financial forecasts.

Ensure full tax compliance across all corporate operations.

Oversee timely tax filings, declarations, and documentation for transfer pricing.

Act as the primary point of contact for local tax authorities and lead the strategy and preparation for tax audits.

Maintain, evaluate, and reinforce a robust internal control framework to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.

Coordinate and facilitate both internal and external auditing processes, ensuring prompt resolution of any audit findings or recommendations.

Manage treasury functions, including cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and credit control.

Review, design, and implement standardized financial policies and procedures improvement initiatives to streamline workflows.

Drive the optimization of the ERP system and accounting software to enhance data integrity and reporting automation.

Foster cross-functional collaboration to improve financial literacy and accountability across operation teams.
Job requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing, ideally complemented by a CPA or Chief Accountant certification.

Experience: 5+ years of leadership experience in a similar role, with a strong preference for backgrounds in international manufacturing.

Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of VAS and IFRS, alongside hands-on experience navigating major ERP systems.
- Key skills: Exceptional analytical skills, capable of translating complex financial data into strategic insights while consistently exceeding expectations without supervision. Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority tasks efficiently within tight deadlines
