Save job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cluster Senior Finance Manager to join an international industrial company, based in Ho Chi Minh. This pivotal role offers you the chance to shape financial strategy across multiple countries, acting as a trusted advisor to local leadership teams while ensuring robust governance and operational excellence.

What you'll do:

As Cluster Senior Finance Manager you will play an instrumental role in driving financial performance across multiple countries within the assigned cluster. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve partnering closely with local leadership teams to provide actionable insights that inform commercial decisions while maintaining rigorous standards of governance. You will oversee all aspects of financial planning—from budgeting through to long-term forecasting—ensuring accuracy in reporting and identifying areas for improvement. In addition to managing core accounting operations such as accounts payable/receivable and treasury functions, you will champion process optimisation initiatives designed to enhance efficiency throughout the finance function. Success in this role requires not only technical expertise but also strong interpersonal skills; you will be expected to nurture talent within your team while building productive relationships with stakeholders at every level. By promoting collaboration between regional strategies and local execution plans—and by upholding the highest standards of compliance—you will help secure sustainable growth for the organisation.

  • Serve as the primary finance business partner to cluster management by providing insightful analysis and strategic recommendations that support business growth and profitability.
  • Drive robust financial planning processes including annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis to ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, variance analysis, and management information to enable informed decision-making at all levels of the business.
  • Oversee all accounting activities such as General Ledger management, Accounts Payable/Receivable oversight, Fixed Assets tracking, Inventory control, and Treasury coordination across the cluster.
  • Ensure full compliance with corporate accounting policies, local statutory regulations, internal controls requirements, and oversee risk management activities.
  • Coordinate statutory audits, tax compliance processes, regulatory reporting obligations, and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and authorities.
  • Champion process standardisation, automation initiatives, and operational excellence across finance operations by collaborating with Global Business Services and Centres of Excellence.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the Finance & Accounting team by fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, talent development, succession planning, and continuous improvement.
  • Promote cross-functional collaboration between finance teams and other business functions to ensure seamless execution of regional strategies at the local level.
  • Act as the key finance representative for both internal stakeholders (regional finance teams, shared service centres) and external partners (auditors, regulators), ensuring effective communication and alignment.

What you bring:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline provides you with a solid academic foundation for this complex role.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA or CMA are highly desirable as they demonstrate your commitment to best practice standards in finance.
  • You bring 10–15 years of progressive experience in finance roles—including significant leadership responsibilities—ideally gained within multinational environments.
  • Your background includes deep expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Accounting operations management, Financial Control frameworks, and Business Partnering activities.
  • You have proven experience leading high-performing finance teams through periods of change or transformation while nurturing talent development initiatives.
  • A thorough understanding of IFRS standards as well as local GAAP requirements ensures you can navigate complex regulatory landscapes with ease.
  • You are adept at using ERP systems (with SAP preferred) alongside business intelligence tools to deliver data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Your ability to influence senior stakeholders is matched by your skill at building consensus among cross-functional teams for shared goals.
  • Experience coordinating statutory audits, tax compliance processes or regulatory reporting demonstrates your attention to detail and commitment to transparency.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to foster trust-based relationships both internally (with colleagues) and externally (with auditors/regulators).
