Head of Finance (International Consumer Goods Company)
A leading organisation in Ho Chi Minh is seeking a Head of Finance to oversee all accounting and finance functions, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance with both local regulations and group policies. - Manage and oversee all finance and accounting functions to ensure compliance with Vietnamese Accounting Standards (VAS), local tax legislation, and group office requirements.
- Supervise month-end closing activities, guaranteeing accurate and timely generation of financial reports for management review.
- Conduct monthly reviews of trial balances, reconciliations, and key financial reports to identify exposures and ensure quality output.
- Oversee taxation matters including tax planning activities to maximise benefits while minimising exposure risks for the organisation.
- Prepare statutory reports and coordinate with auditors to ensure seamless audit processes and compliance with legal requirements.
- Handle insurance matters as well as legal issues related to finance operations within the organisation.
- Lead financial analysis initiatives including profit planning activities, feasibility studies for investment projects, and regular performance updates for management.
- Monitor cash flow, manage working capital efficiently, liaise with bankers and payment service providers to optimise financial operations.
- Recommend process improvements for internal controls, ensure compliance with procurement activities, and champion adherence to group policies.
What you bring:
