Plant Controller

As the Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth operation of all financial aspects of the plant, from day-to-day accounting to strategic planning and resource management.
What you'll do:
- Oversee daily accounting operations to ensure all financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently, maintaining appropriate controls over both incoming and outgoing funds.
- Lead the month-end closing process by coordinating with relevant teams to deliver timely, complete, and accurate financial reports that inform business decisions.
- Conduct thorough reviews and analyses of profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to provide actionable insights for management.
- Monitor the company’s cash position closely to support effective liquidity management and operational stability.
- Develop and enhance management reporting systems that offer flexibility of data while upholding information integrity, enabling informed decision-making at every level.
- Establish and update accounting policies and procedures as needed so that finance staff remain aligned with evolving business requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports and respond promptly to requests from Internal Audit, ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations.
- Collaborate with Head of Finance, factory manager, and business head to assist in preparing annual budgets, business plans, monthly forecasts, and variance reports for operational reviews.
- Manage year-end audit programmes by overseeing information flows, preparing schedules, and supporting external auditors with tax filings and statutory certifications.
- Control direct costs and overheads by identifying efficiency measures, recommending improvements, and implementing cost-saving initiatives in line with budget targets.
What you bring:
- Hold a degree in Accounting and Finance or a recognized professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA), showcasing strong financial expertise.

Demonstrate English proficiency and advanced computer skills; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is highly desirable.

Bring over 12 years of finance & accounting experience in manufacturing sector with minimum 3 years in similar managerial positions. - Proven ability to manage complex month-end closings and deliver accurate financial statements under tight deadlines.
- Exhibit strong analytical skills in reviewing P&L accounts, balance sheets, and cash flows, translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Display excellent interpersonal skills by collaborating effectively across departments like operations and internal audit.
- Possess hands-on experience developing flexible yet reliable management reporting systems for informed decision-making.
- Demonstrate expertise in preparing annual budgets, business plans, monthly forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Have prior experience managing year-end audits, including preparing documentation for external auditors and tax filings.
