Finance Controller (Regional office, MNC)

A global supply chain management company is seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Controller (Regional office, MNC) to join their team based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This is a unique opportunity for a result-driven professional to play a pivotal role in driving financial planning and analysis, operational excellence and cross-functional collaboration across multiple countries.

What you'll do:

• Financial Leadership: Provide commercial and financial analytical support to drive strategies. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews while delivering actionable insights to improve decision-making.
• Compliance & Governance: Prepare and ensure adherence to group and local accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls. Drive process improvements and maintain robust financial governance across all sourcing offices.
• Operational Efficiency: Manage working capital, optimize cash flow, and oversee vendor payment terms. Streamline reporting processes and leverage tools like Power BI for data-driven insights.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with commercial teams to assess external factors impacting margins (e.g., FX, labour costs) and provide strategic recommendations. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across business units and regional offices.
• Office & IT Management: Oversee IT infrastructure, cybersecurity compliance, and office facilities management to ensure seamless operations.

What you bring:

• 10-15 years of financial controlling experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within a multinational corporation.
• Qualifications such as CPA and ACCA desirable; MBA in Finance from a reputable institution preferred.
• Proven experience in financial planning, reporting and analysis.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, D365 etc.) with hands-on experience in Excel and Power BI dashboards.
• Exposure to multi-country scope / cross-border work experience required.
• Excellent communication skills in both Vietnamese and English, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Quick learner with a solution-oriented mindset.
