Head of Risk Management (Tech Hub, Global Banking)

A leading global bank's Technology Hub is seeking an experienced Head of Risk Management to lead its governance and risk reporting function based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. This strategic leadership role oversees governance, reporting, program execution and vendor risk management across a large-scale tech hub. You will lead a high-performing team, partner with senior risk leaders, and strengthen risk governance while enabling innovation and operational excellence.

What you'll do:
• Drive enterprise reporting, governance execution and management insights across the tech hub.
• Oversee vendor risk assessments, ensuring quality, consistency and timely delivery.
• Deliver meaningful risk analytics and reporting to support executive and Board-level decision making.
• Strengthen data quality, governance standards and reporting capability across the organisation.
• Partner with global stakeholders to drive regulatory, audit and risk initiatives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, accountability and capability development.

What you bring:
• 15-20 years' work experience in Governance, Enterprise Risk, Operational Risk, Reporting, Controls or Risk Management.
• Experience either in banking & financial services or tech hub is preferable.
• Proven leadership of large, high-performing teams in complex, matrix organisations.
• Strong knowledge of governance frameworks, regulatory compliance, audit and vendor risk management.
• Experience delivering executive-level reporting, insights and data-driven decision support; ability to influence senior stakeholders, including Executive Leadership and Board committees.
• Strong analytical mindset with a track record of improving governance, reporting and operational effectiveness.
