What you'll do:
As Technical Manager based in Binh Duong you will be at the forefront of driving manufacturing excellence through new product introduction and technical innovation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with internal teams as well as customers to ensure that every project meets stringent quality standards while being delivered efficiently. You will guide the development of manufacturing plans that optimise CNC processes for both productivity and cost-effectiveness. By applying structured problem-solving methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma you will champion operational improvements that reduce waste and enhance overall equipment effectiveness. Your role also includes managing multiple projects simultaneously—balancing resources and risks—while providing regular updates to senior management. In addition to overseeing compliance with industry standards like ISO 9001 or IATF 16949 you will support audits and lead initiatives that strengthen the company’s quality management systems. Building technical competency within your team is central; you’ll coach engineers towards professional growth while establishing KPIs that drive performance. - Lead the end-to-end NPI process from RFQ and feasibility study through prototyping, pilot production, and transfer to series production, ensuring smooth launches.
- Review customer drawings, specifications, GD&T requirements, and assess manufacturing feasibility to guarantee alignment with client expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across departments to facilitate seamless product introductions and technical improvements.
- Develop comprehensive manufacturing plans including process flows, PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, and drive APQP activities for project fulfilment.
- Provide technical leadership in CAD/CAM applications and CNC manufacturing processes by defining robust cutting programs and tooling strategies.
- Oversee CNC machine setup, tooling selection, fixture design, cutting parameters, process validation, troubleshooting machining issues related to quality or productivity.
- Evaluate and implement advanced machining technologies and automation opportunities while establishing machining standards and best practices.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity enhancement, cost reduction, yield improvement, scrap reduction, OEE enhancement, cycle time optimisation using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Manage technical and industrialisation projects from concept through implementation by developing timelines, resource plans, budgets, risk assessments; monitor progress against milestones.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards by supporting audits, leading quality system improvements, maintaining documentation and overseeing change management.

- Bachelor's Degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics or related disciplines is required.
- Minimum 8–10 years of manufacturing engineering experience in CNC machining or precision engineering is essential for this role.
- At least 3–5 years in a managerial or technical leadership position demonstrating proven ability to guide engineering teams is mandatory.
- Proven experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) processes as well as project management within multinational environments is highly valued.
- Experience serving automotive, industrial equipment, aerospace, medical device or high-precision manufacturing industries is preferred.
- Certification in Lean Six Sigma or Project Management Professional (PMP) is advantageous for candidates seeking to stand out.
- Expertise in CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo, AutoCAD, CATIA NX) as well as CAM software (Mastercam NX CAM Powermill HyperMill Fusion 360) is expected.
- Strong knowledge of CNC Milling & Turning including multi-axis machining (3-axis 4-axis 5-axis), programming setup fixture/tooling design process validation capability studies is required.
- Familiarity with APQP PPAP PFMEA Control Plan MSA SPC Lean Manufacturing (5S TPM SMED..) Six Sigma methodologies is important for operational excellence.
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese coupled with excellent stakeholder management communication skills enables effective collaboration across diverse teams.
