What you'll do:

As a Production Technology Leader based in Bac Ninh, you will play a pivotal role in guiding the technical direction of an advanced magnet manufacturing plant. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve overseeing critical processes such as forming, sintering, heat treatment, machining, and surface treatment of rare-earth magnets. You will be expected to optimise yields by stabilising manufacturing lines while minimising unnecessary costs through effective troubleshooting. By leading process improvement projects and collaborating with various departments—including Quality Assurance, Automation, and Operations—you will help drive the achievement of plant KPIs. Your ability to analyse process data and recommend solutions will be essential in maintaining high standards of efficiency and product quality. Additionally, you will support staff training initiatives to promote knowledge sharing within the team. Compliance with safety protocols and environmental guidelines will be integral to your role. • Oversee all technical operations related to rare-earth (NdFeB) sintered magnet mass production, focusing on forming, sintering, heat treatment, machining, and surface treatment processes.
• Optimise production yield by stabilising manufacturing lines and minimising trial-and-error costs to ensure efficient workflow across the plant.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues on the shop floor by identifying root causes of process variations and implementing robust corrective or preventive actions.
• Lead process improvement initiatives including technology transfer projects and standardisation efforts to enhance both production efficiency and product quality.
• Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance, Equipment/Automation, and Operations teams to achieve key plant performance indicators and strategic delivery schedules.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring process data, analysing trends, and recommending actionable solutions for operational challenges.
• Support training programmes for staff members to foster knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.

• Your educational background includes at least a Bachelor’s degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.
• You possess deep knowledge of sintering kinetics, phase transformations, forming/pressing techniques, heat treatment procedures, and yield optimisation methods relevant to magnet manufacturing.
• Previous experience at major magnet manufacturers such as Shin-Etsu, SGI/Sungrim, LS Eco Energy or leading Chinese suppliers is highly preferred for this position.
• You are fluent in at least one language among Vietnamese, English, Chinese, Korean or Japanese—enabling effective communication across diverse teams.
• Prior working experience in Vietnam is considered highly advantageous for understanding local operational nuances.
• You demonstrate strong interpersonal skills that foster collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams focused on achieving shared goals.
