VP Asia Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all operational activities across Asia, ensuring product quality, compliance, service, and on-time delivery.
• Develop and execute regional operational strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide executive oversight for Quality Assurance, Product Compliance, Testing, ESG programs, and supplier performance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage supplier relationships, monitor performance, conduct reviews, and support onboarding of strategic manufacturing partners.
• Ensure compliance with global and local regulatory requirements, product safety standards, and testing protocols.
• Oversee product qualification, laboratory testing, certifications, and corrective action processes.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Logistics, Manufacturing, and Merchandising teams.
• Lead, develop, and mentor high-performing multicultural teams across the region.
• Support succession planning, talent development, organizational growth, and budget management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.
• 15+ years of leadership experience in international operations, manufacturing, quality, or supply chain management in furniture industry
• Proven success leading cross-cultural teams and complex regional operations.
• Strong expertise in Quality Management Systems, Supply Chain Operations, Regulatory Compliance, Product Testing, Factory Operations, ESG, Risk Management, and Continuous Improvement.
• Experience with global sourcing networks, supplier management, and manufacturing environments; furniture industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated capability in transformation, operational improvement, quality enhancement, and compliance initiatives.
• Strong strategic planning, financial management, change leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to ethical sourcing, social compliance, governance standards, and responsible business practices.
