What you'll do:

As a Supplier Quality Engineer – Indoor Furniture based in Ho Chi Minh, you will play a pivotal role in driving product excellence across multiple stages of development. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with internal departments such as supply chain, production engineering, commercial teams, as well as external contacts including European product teams, vendors, inspection agents, and testing laboratories. You will be responsible for updating specifications, managing qualification programmes, overseeing legal compliance documentation, leading seal approval processes, setting up effective onsite assurance plans during production runs, coaching team members on best practices, investigating customer feedback for technical improvements, and maintaining technical document systems. • Work collaboratively with various functional teams to complete assigned tasks on time, supporting project completion according to critical path analysis (CPA) and ensuring shipments are delivered on time in full (OTIF).
• Evaluate new products thoroughly to confirm compliance with legal regulations, company standards, and customer needs while identifying key control points for effective quality management.
• Manage quality assurance tasks related to new product development in conjunction with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of QA processes from concept through production.
• Oversee specification and legal compliance for instruction manual (IM) and artwork (AW) development, liaising closely with vendors and third-party testing laboratories to maintain comprehensive technical files.
• Lead assessments for silver and gold seals approval processes on behalf of the company, communicating evaluation reports and project status transparently to all stakeholders involved.
• Identify appropriate control plans for onsite assurance during pilot runs and mass production phases, conducting manufacturing tests to uphold high standards of product integrity.
• Monitor daily operations by coaching Quality Assurance Technicians (QAT), providing guidance on assigned tasks while nurturing a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
• Investigate customer complaints promptly by identifying corrective actions at technical levels, working empathetically with vendors to implement solutions that enhance customer satisfaction.
