Facility Engineer Salary: Competitive and based on experience Location: Binh Duong

Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations & Maintenance
• Manage the operation and preventive maintenance of facility systems, including:
+ Electrical distribution systems
+ HVAC and chillers
+ Compressed air (CDA)
+ RO/DI water systems
+ Industrial wastewater treatment (IETS)
+ Process cooling water (PCW)
+ Gas systems and building facilities
• Develop and implement long-term maintenance plans to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Perform troubleshooting, inspections, emergency repairs, and root cause analysis.
Engineering & Projects
• Design and specify electrical systems for new facilities, renovations, and factory upgrades.
• Conduct load calculations, power quality analysis, and electrical system studies.
• Support Greenfield and Brownfield projects, including equipment installation, commissioning, and vendor coordination.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely on schedule, and within budget.
Automation & Continuous Improvement
• Develop and implement PLC/SCADA-based control strategies where applicable.
• Lead energy-saving and facility optimization initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and
maintenance processes.
Compliance & Documentation
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance procedures, and engineering documentation.
• Ensure compliance with Vietnamese regulations, IEC standards, and company safety requirements.
• Support internal and external audits while maintaining proper document control.
• Manage contractors and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

Requirements
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Power Systems, or a related discipline.
Experience
• At least 3–5 years of experience in facility engineering or maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with facility systems such as HVAC, electrical distribution, chillers, compressed air, RO/DI water, IETS, or PCW.
• Experience in factory start-up (Greenfield) or expansion (Brownfield) projects is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing facility projects, contractors, and maintenance activities.
Technical Skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical (EPLAN is an advantage).
• Good understanding of:
o Low-voltage electrical distribution
o PLC/SCADA systems
o Motor drives and sensors
o Electrical schematics and control panels
• Knowledge of IEC standards and Vietnamese technical regulations (QCVN).
• Experience in electrical troubleshooting, commissioning, and preventive maintenance.
Certifications
• Valid Electrical Safety Certificate in accordance with Vietnamese regulations.
• PLC/Automation certification (Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Keyence, etc.) is preferred.
Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Team player with a proactive and continuous improvement mindset.
• Willing to support emergency maintenance and occasional business travel when required.
