What you'll do:
As an Operations Excellence Manager based in Binh Duong, you will be at the forefront of driving transformative change within a dynamic manufacturing environment. - Implement comprehensive factory readiness criteria for new product introductions, ensuring seamless integration across production planning, material sourcing, engineering, operations, and quality assurance.
- Manage ongoing excellence projects aimed at enhancing manufacturability, boosting production efficiency, improving quality controls, and identifying cost-saving opportunities within the manufacturing process.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen to foster a culture of ongoing optimisation throughout the factory.
- Align with factory leadership on resource planning for new product launches and efficiency projects, ensuring all necessary equipment and staffing levels are in place.
- Train and coach factory leaders on essential procedures and competencies required to meet business objectives and uphold rigorous quality standards.
- Communicate plans for new product introductions and improvement initiatives effectively across all levels of the factory through well-structured communication strategies.
- Spend significant time on the factory floor evaluating process maturity progression and pinpointing key areas for further enhancement.
- Analyse complex processes such as metal stamping, welding, powder coating, enamelling decoration, and mechanical assembly to identify bottlenecks and recommend optimisations.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess production efficiency and overall manufacturing capability.

- A bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering or a related field—or equivalent experience demonstrating deep industry knowledge.
- At least 8-10 years’ experience in manufacturing operations with a minimum of 4 years spent in a leadership capacity focused on continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated success collaborating with outsourced factory management teams to achieve shared operational goals.
- Previous experience within appliance or consumer goods manufacturing; familiarity with outdoor cooking or grill products is highly desirable.
- Certification or practical expertise in Lean Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), showcasing your ability to lead structured improvement efforts.
- Proven track record working with manufacturing partners across Asia coupled with an understanding of cross-cultural business practices.
- Ability to interpret mechanical part 2D drawings, engineering specifications, part tolerancing requirements, and bills of materials (BOMs).
- In-depth experience with automation development enabling you to suggest meaningful design enhancements for improved manufacturability.
- Fluency in Mandarin is essential; strong English communication skills (both written and spoken) are also required for effective cross-border collaboration.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications including PowerPoint, Excel, Word; familiarity with MS Teams and Atlassian Jira is advantageous.
