PLANT MANAGER (Vietnamese only) Location: Quy Nhon/ Pleiku Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Overview

A leading international food manufacturing organization is seeking a Plant Manager to lead operations across two production facilities in Quy Nhon. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring quality and food safety compliance, optimizing resources, and developing high-performing teams. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting business growth while maintaining the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations across two manufacturing plants, ensuring production, quality, safety, and efficiency targets are consistently achieved.
  • Develop and execute production plans to meet customer demand, delivery commitments, and inventory objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, automation, and process optimization programs.
  • Monitor operational KPIs, analyse performance gaps, and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and plant performance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, quality, environmental, health & safety, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage operating budgets, production costs, and resource utilization to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Lead Opex and Capex projects, including equipment upgrades, facility improvements, and productivity enhancement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Commercial teams to ensure smooth operations and business continuity.
  • Strengthen preventive maintenance and asset reliability programs to minimize downtime and maximize equipment effectiveness.
  • Build, coach, and develop leadership and operational teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Drive workforce planning, performance management, succession planning, and talent development initiatives.
  • Prepare and present operational performance reports, business reviews, and improvement plans to senior management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Production Technology, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in food manufacturing, including at least 5 years in a senior plant/factory management position.
  • Strong experience in Ready-to-Eat (RTE) or food processing manufacturing environments.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale manufacturing operations and delivering operational excellence.
  • Solid understanding of food safety standards, quality systems, and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for operational improvements and strategic decision-making.
