Operations Manager/ Plant Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets are achieved.
• Manage Production, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering/Maintenance, and HR functions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Lead ERP implementation and adoption to strengthen process control and business visibility.
• Improve plant profitability through productivity gains, cost reduction, inventory optimisation, and margin enhancement.
• Develop organisational capability through leadership development and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Partner with global leadership and Finance teams to support strategic growth and operational objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 12 years' manufacturing experience, including at least 3 years as Plant Manager or Operations Manager.
• Experience in rubber, plastics, or polymer manufacturing preferred.
• Proven track record managing medium size manufacturing plants
• Strong expertise in manufacturing operations, supply chain, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Hands-on experience implementing Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Experience leading ERP implementation or major business transformation projects.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• International manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and high emotional intelligence.
