  • Take end-to-end accountability for manufacturing business processes as they are represented and executed within the MES, ensuring alignment with real shop-floor needs.
  • Enjoy a collaborative workplace with flexible working opportunities, ongoing training, and supportive leadership that values your expertise and encourages professional growth.
  • Be recognised for your ability to connect operational reality with system design, acting as the final authority on process-related decisions and improvements.

What you'll do:

As a Manufacturing Execution System Process Manager in Ho Chi Minh City, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how manufacturing processes are executed through technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve collaborating closely with plant operations teams to define workflows that reflect true operational needs. You will translate these requirements into actionable specifications for IT and engineering teams while maintaining authority over process decisions. By monitoring KPIs and leading user acceptance testing, you ensure that every system change delivers measurable value. Your expertise will be called upon to manage change requests and drive ongoing improvements after implementation. Success in this role means being a dependable connector between shop-floor realities and digital solutions—ensuring that every process runs smoothly, efficiently, and in line with business goals.

  • Define and document both current-state and future-state process workflows for designated manufacturing areas, ensuring clarity and accuracy in all documentation.
  • Translate complex business requirements into detailed functional specifications for the MES implementation team, facilitating clear communication between stakeholders.
  • Approve or reject proposed system configurations based on thorough evaluation against actual operational needs, maintaining high standards of process integrity.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as OEE, first-pass yield, and cycle time to ensure the MES supports optimal outcomes for each process area.
  • Serve as the final decision-maker on process-related trade-offs during implementation, balancing standardisation with site-specific flexibility to meet diverse needs.
  • Lead user acceptance testing (UAT) for assigned process areas, coordinating feedback from shop-floor staff and ensuring successful adoption of new systems.
  • Manage change requests and oversee ongoing process improvements post-go-live, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement within the manufacturing environment.
  • Act as an escalation point when system functionality does not match operational reality, providing guidance and support to resolve issues efficiently.

What you bring:

Your proven experience as a Manufacturing Execution System Process Manager will be evident through your extensive background in plant operations or production planning. You bring a nuanced understanding of how manufacturing processes function day-to-day, which enables you to translate operational requirements into effective system configurations. Your ability to mediate between IT specialists, engineers, and shop-floor staff ensures that everyone’s voice is heard while maintaining focus on business objectives. You excel at documenting workflows using industry-standard techniques like value stream mapping or SOPs. Your analytical approach allows you to monitor KPIs closely and respond proactively when targets are not met. Above all, your interpersonal skills foster collaboration across teams—creating an inclusive environment where continuous improvement is encouraged. Your commitment to supporting others makes you an invaluable asset in driving positive change throughout the organisation.

  • Demonstrated deep operational knowledge of manufacturing processes gained through at least five years’ experience in plant operations, quality management or production planning.
  • Working understanding of MES/ERP concepts with the ability to communicate effectively about system capabilities without needing technical expertise.
  • Proven stakeholder management skills enabling you to mediate between IT teams, engineering departments, and shop-floor staff with empathy and clarity.
  • Experience with process mapping and documentation techniques such as value stream mapping or SOPs, ensuring accurate representation of workflows.
  • Ability to monitor key performance indicators like OEE or cycle time and use data-driven insights to inform decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills allowing you to build trustful relationships across departments and foster co-operative problem-solving environments.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement demonstrated by managing change requests and driving enhancements post-go-live.
  • Capacity to act as an escalation point when system functionality diverges from operational reality, offering responsive support.
