What you'll do:

As a Quality Manager based in Ho Chi Minh, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing supplier qualification processes throughout Southeast Asia. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve monitoring production lines through detailed audits, supervising product testing and verification activities, coordinating corrective actions for defects found during inspections, and ensuring all documentation aligns with regulatory standards. You will participate in key project meetings to track milestones, review engineering pilots, manage compliance documents, and collaborate with cross-functional teams both locally and internationally. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail when qualifying suppliers and components before mass production begins. You will also provide consultative assistance and training to suppliers on best practices for quality management while maintaining traceability files within internal systems. Your ability to foster collaborative relationships across departments will be essential as you drive continual improvement initiatives that enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction.

  • Manage Southeast Asian suppliers through initial qualification processes, implementing necessary new product development procedures per project plans and continuously pursuing process improvements.
  • Qualify critical processes of Southeast Asian suppliers, including sub-suppliers involved in grill production, ensuring all components meet stringent requirements before onboarding.
  • Monitor production processes through line audits and pre-shipment inspections, collecting data and maintaining continual improvement initiatives within the supply chain.
  • Supervise overall testing and verification of products by ensuring product quality and deliveries are met according to specifications and delivery schedules.
  • Participate actively in project meetings for involvement in project or product milestones, following up on progress and outcomes.
  • Review and approve first production inspection (FPI) together with execution of engineering pilot runs (EP), ensuring defect findings are addressed promptly.
  • Oversee production process reviews (SOP) alongside execution and approval of production pilot runs (PP), triggering mass production when criteria are met.
  • Execute pre-shipment inspections per supplier applications, conducting line audits and mass production quality control to ensure compliance with qualified processes or methods.
  • Coordinate corrective and preventive action (CAPA) processes for defect findings from line audits and pre-shipment inspections, collaborating with US teams for consumer or marketing complaints investigations using CAPA or 8D procedures when required.
  • Work closely with compliance teams for document collection, storage, and uploading as specified by company procedures, retailer requirements, industry standards, and legal regulations.
