We're currently hiring for a leading global agribusiness and food ingredients company supplying natural ingredients to food and beverage manufacturers worldwide.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality & Food Safety Manager to lead food safety, quality assurance, and compliance activities across manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for maintaining robust quality systems, ensuring compliance with international standards, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and leading a high-performing quality team.

Key Responsibilities
Quality & Food Safety Management
• Develop, implement, and maintain food safety and quality management systems in compliance with BRCGS, Kosher, Halal, Organic, and other applicable standards.
• Lead internal audits, external certification audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Ensure compliance with customer requirements, internal standards, and regulatory expectations.
• Oversee testing, validation, and quality control activities for new product introductions.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation, procedures, records, and quality systems.
• Investigate quality incidents, non-conformances, and food safety issues, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Monitor operational processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives to strengthen quality and food safety performance.
• Analyse quality metrics, trends, and KPIs to identify risks and improvement opportunities.

Team Leadership & Development
• Lead, coach, and develop the Quality & Food Safety team.
• Establish performance objectives, provide regular feedback, and support capability development.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and food safety excellence across the organization.

Customer Complaints & Continuous Improvement
• Manage customer complaints and quality-related issues through structured root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Drive preventive initiatives based on audit findings, customer feedback, and operational performance data.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to balance business objectives, compliance requirements, and operational risks.
• Support decision-making and issue resolution related to product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Chemistry, Biology, Agriculture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7–8 years of experience in Quality and Food Safety within a food manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience leading quality systems, audits, and compliance programs.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, SSOP, BRCGS, Kosher, Halal, and other relevant food safety standards.
• Experience planning, conducting, and managing process and system audits.
• Familiarity with root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
