- Lead, mentor, and develop a talented regional team, fostering a collaborative environment that supports long-term supply chain growth and professional development.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to proactively address quality risks, resolve customer complaints, and drive supplier performance improvements for sustainable results.
What you'll do:
As Regional Quality Manager, you will play a central role in shaping the future of product quality across Southeast Asia. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve guiding a skilled team through complex compliance landscapes while ensuring seamless communication between country teams. You will be instrumental in optimising inspection processes, reducing costs without compromising standards, and responding swiftly to any emerging risks or customer concerns. By leveraging your technical background and leadership skills, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement within your team while supporting suppliers in their journey towards higher performance. Your ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously will be key as you coordinate with various stakeholders—both internally and externally—to deliver safe, compliant products that consistently exceed expectations.
- Oversee the entire Southeast Asia quality organisation by recruiting talent, managing performance, building capabilities, and developing future leaders to ensure a dependable pipeline for ongoing supply chain expansion.
- Establish unified regional quality governance across multiple countries by implementing consistent systems, processes, and procedures that eliminate execution inconsistencies between local teams.
- Manage comprehensive product compliance activities by collaborating with Product Assurance teams and third-party testing laboratories to verify adherence to all relevant requirements.
- Continuously refine quality systems, streamline inspection workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and reduce long-term costs while maintaining full compliance with U.S. market standards.
- Ensure pre-shipment inspection plans are meticulously aligned with global goals and executed according to established procedures for maximum reliability.
- Identify potential batch quality risks early on across the region, lead thorough root cause analyses for customer complaints, implement corrective actions promptly, and establish preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Drive strategic supplier quality development using data-driven performance management tools such as supplier scoring and structured improvement programmes to close gaps and achieve lasting enhancements.
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external customers regarding all aspects of quality management, working collaboratively across functions to resolve diverse issues efficiently.
- Oversee accredited third-party laboratory services as requested by global operations, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately for reliable test results.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by senior management to support evolving business needs.

Experience leading sizeable teams means you understand how to nurture talent through coaching and mentorship while promoting accountability at every level. Your attention to detail ensures nothing slips through the cracks during inspections or audits; meanwhile your adaptability allows you to respond constructively when priorities shift unexpectedly. A genuine passion for continuous improvement drives you not only to solve immediate problems but also implement systemic changes that benefit the entire supply chain over time.
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Material Engineering is highly desirable for this position.
- More than 15 years of experience in quality assurance or engineering roles within manufacturing or quality management activities related to building material products such as plumbing hardware, pipes, valves, flanges, lighting fixtures or vanities is essential.

- A solid technical foundation is needed so you can analyse problems thoroughly using recognised quality tools and methodologies.
- Familiarity with international standards such as ASTM, ANSI or UL would be advantageous when navigating regulatory requirements.
