QUALITY MANAGER (PIPING) Salary: Competitive and based on experience Location: Binh Duong

We’re supporting our client - global organisation in the piping fabrication industry in hiring a Quality Manager (Piping) to join their team in Binh Duong.

About the Role
This is an exceptional opportunity for you to make a significant impact by shaping quality standards and processes across multiple sites, including the exciting setup of a new facility. You will be at the heart of operations, collaborating with diverse teams and stakeholders, and ensuring that every product meets rigorous industry requirements.

Key Responsibilities
• Define, monitor, and drive key Quality KPIs, including customer complaint closure, internal defect rates, audit findings, and supplier quality performance.
• Lead, manage, and develop the Quality team, including Quality Engineers, Quality Staff, and Welding Inspectors.
• Oversee quality activities across key piping fabrication processes, including:
o Piping collaring
o Orbital welding
o Piping pressure testing
o Piping passivation
o Valve inspection and handling
• Ensure quality systems and manufacturing processes comply with ISO 9001 and relevant standards, including ISO 3834, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 37301.
• Conduct and oversee internal and external audits, identify areas for improvement, and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Work closely with Engineering, Sales, Procurement, customers, and internal manufacturing functions to align quality requirements and resolve quality-related issues.
• Lead quality-related activities for the BD3 site setup and new manifold product line, supporting operational readiness ahead of the planned February 2027 start-up.
• Establish and improve quality procedures, inspection processes, and control systems for new and existing operations.
• Build effective relationships with customers and relevant internal and external authorities.
• Identify training needs and provide coaching and development opportunities for the Quality team.
• Support the onboarding and relocation of team members moving to the Tan Uyen, Binh Duong site.

Key Requirements
• Solid experience in the piping fabrication industry, with hands-on knowledge of processes including piping collaring, orbital welding, pressure testing, passivation, and valves.
• Previous experience in a Quality Manager or equivalent quality leadership role within manufacturing, piping fabrication, Oil & Gas, or a related industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, with familiarity with related standards such as ISO 3834, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 37301.
• Proven ability to lead and develop Quality teams and work effectively with crossfunctional stakeholders, customers, and external authorities.
• Strong English communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multicultural teams.
• Structured, self-motivated, and passionate about quality management and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to relocate/work in Binh Duong.
• Experience in the Oil & Gas industry would be an advantage.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification would be an advantage.
• Experience with new site setup, production start-up, or new product introduction would be a plus.
