What you'll do:

• Maintain and continuously improve the IATF 16949, ISO9000, GMP, and ISO9100 quality management systems while ensuring audit readiness for internal, customer, and third-party reviews.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and outgoing quality control processes as well as the Customer Care Centre to guarantee all products meet stringent automotive specifications before reaching customers.
• Develop robust quality control resources such as GR&R studies, calibration protocols, and Resource Capability Qualification (RCQ) to ensure accuracy and productivity across operations.
• Plan and execute New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from a quality perspective to support innovation within manufacturing processes.
• Utilise Lean tools including 8D problem-solving methodologies, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA techniques to minimise non-conformities, reduce scrap rates, and optimise production efficiency.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues by coordinating containment actions and implementing long-term corrective responses.
• Ensure the facility complies with all local occupational health and safety regulations as well as corporate policies through diligent oversight.
• Conduct regular safety audits, hazard assessments such as Job Safety Analysis (JSA), and emergency response drills to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
• Manage waste reduction initiatives alongside chemical safety programmes while ensuring compliance with local environmental permits.
• Lead comprehensive safety training programmes designed to embed a proactive 'Safety First' culture across all production shifts.

What you bring:

• Mandatory: At least five years’ experience in a Quality position within an automotive manufacturing environment is required for this role.
• Mandatory: Deep technical knowledge of IATF 16949 standards along with proficiency in ISO 9000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 frameworks is essential.
• Mandatory: Demonstrated expertise in core automotive tools such as APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), PPAP (Production Part Approval Process), FMEA (Failure Mode Effects Analysis), MSA (Measurement System Analysis), SPC (Statistical Process Control), IQC (Incoming Quality Control), IPQC (In-Process Quality Control), OQC (Outgoing Quality Control), RCQ (Resource Capability Qualification).
• Mandatory: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management or related technical field is necessary for consideration.
• Mandatory: Excellent English communication skills are required due to frequent interaction with cross-functional teams locally and internationally.
• Mandatory: Hands-on practical experience implementing quality management systems rather than theoretical knowledge alone is highly valued by the client.
• Nice to Have: PQ pillar or Blackbelt equivalent certification would be advantageous for candidates seeking additional responsibility or career progression.
• Nice to Have: Experience leading large teams or managing change initiatives within manufacturing environments is beneficial.
• Nice to Have: Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies enhances your suitability for this position.
