About the role
A leading global retailer is looking for a Store Development Manager to drive the creation and expansion of their store network across Vietnam. You'll own the full project lifecycle — from land acquisition and feasibility through design, construction, and handover — working closely with property developers, designers, contractors, and internal teams.

What you'll do
• Define and execute the store development and expansion strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives
• Manage all project phases: feasibility studies, land acquisition, leasing negotiations, design coordination, construction, and handover
• Lead land acquisition with a focus on roadside and standalone store formats as key growth drivers
• Make decisions on site selection, investment prioritisation, and capital allocation based on feasibility and risk analysis
• Represent the company in high-value lease and land negotiations to secure commercially advantageous terms
• Build and maintain relationships with landlords, landowners, developers, and real estate partners
• Ensure global brand and development standards are applied consistently, with flexibility for local market conditions
• Oversee governance across design, construction, permitting, compliance, and handover
• Partner with Operations, Finance, Legal, and Design teams to align development with overall business strategy
• Lead initiatives to enhance existing stores through physical environment optimisation

What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• 7–10+ years in real estate management; commercial or retail background is a strong advantage
• Proven project management experience including construction quality, schedule, and budget control
• Knowledge of construction regulations, bidding processes, and contract management
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
• Willingness to travel frequently across Vietnam
• Familiarity with retail environments and branding standards
• Customer- and store-oriented mindset; comfortable being hands-on
