What you'll do:
As Chief Product Officer – Consumer Finance, you will be entrusted with end-to-end responsibility for the Division. Your day-to-day will involve developing robust strategies for both products and customer base management while ensuring alignment with broader business objectives. You will set ambitious targets for product performance, oversee service quality standards, manage debt quality metrics, and drive profitability across all offerings. By collaborating with internal teams as well as external partners, you will leverage data insights to optimise customer value management processes. You will also design innovative sales campaigns, marketing initiatives, and competition programmes that enhance market presence. In addition to being the central point of contact for product-related information flows between departments, you will establish the division’s structure—planning recruitment needs, managing personnel, nurturing talent—and fostering an inclusive team environment that thrives on collaboration. - Lead all aspects of product design, development, implementation, operation, and evaluation.
- Develop comprehensive strategies for products and customer base management that align with long-term business objectives.
- Set targets and plans for product performance and customer base expansion while tracking results against budgeted goals.
- Manage service quality and debt quality across all products to ensure profitability and sustainable growth.
- Develop and oversee customer serving solutions and platforms including touchpoints and database management related to customers and products.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners to investigate product data and optimise customer value management.
- Design and execute product competition programmes as well as sales campaigns and marketing initiatives to maximise market reach.
- Monitor efficiency of campaigns, promotions, and other initiatives ensuring optimal outcomes for the business.
- Act as the primary contact point for product-related information while facilitating data inheritance activities from other functional departments.
- Establish the division’s structure; plan, hire, manage personnel, and nurture high-performing teams.
What you bring:
- University degree or higher in Finance, Banking, Economics or related quantitative fields is required for this executive position.
- Minimum 10 years of proven track record in Product Management, CRM or Customer Value Management within Banking or Consumer Finance sectors is essential.
- At least 5 years in a Head/Chief or equivalent strategic leadership role demonstrating ability to steer large-scale departments is mandatory.
- Deep hands-on experience in the Vietnamese financial landscape is highly valued; open to local professionals, Vietnamese returnees or expats with relevant expertise.
- Expertise in Customer Value Management principles including product development life cycles and portfolio optimisation is crucial.
- Comprehensive understanding of Vietnam’s consumer finance market including consumer behaviour trends and SBV regulatory framework is expected.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis and processing enabling translation of complex datasets into actionable business growth strategies is required.
- Ability to architect company-wide strategies that align with long-term objectives while executing them effectively across multiple functions is necessary.
- Exceptional management skills with capacity to inspire develop high-performing cross-functional teams through collaborative leadership are vital.
- Professional fluency in English coupled with superior communication negotiation skills enabling influence at Board level is indispensable.
