Business Unit Director - Medical Devices
This role is responsible for managing multifunctional teams across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service to deliver sustainable business growth, profitability, operational excellence, and long-term organizational capability.
The successful candidate will own the full P&L and play a key role in shaping business strategy, strengthening market position, and building a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
Business Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sustainable double-digit growth.
- Drive revenue growth, market expansion, and profitability through effective commercial strategies.
- Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and competitive insights to maintain a strong market position.
- Build and strengthen strategic partnerships with key customers, principals, and stakeholders.
- Lead portfolio expansion and commercial channel optimization initiatives.
- Ensure achievement of financial targets through effective P&L management, forecasting, and budget planning.
Commercial & Operational Excellence
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service teams.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
- Identify opportunities to improve business efficiency, agility, and productivity.
- Ensure strong execution discipline and customer-centric operations.
Leadership & People Development
- Lead, coach, and develop senior management teams to drive high performance and accountability.
- Build succession pipelines and develop future leaders within the organization.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Promote strong ethical standards, integrity, and leadership by example.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Master’s Degree or MBA is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience within the healthcare industry in Vietnam.
- Strong experience in medical devices businesses is required.
- At least 5 years in senior leadership roles managing multifunctional teams.
- Proven track record in driving business growth and managing profitable business units.
- Strong commercial acumen with solid experience in account management and stakeholder engagement.
