Plant HR Manager
A leading manufacturing organisation in Binh Duong is seeking a Plant HR Manager to champion on people agenda. What you'll do:
As Plant Human Resources Manager in Binh Duong you will play a central role in shaping the organisation’s people strategy. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with senior leaders to develop robust HR frameworks that support business objectives. You will lead recruitment efforts for a wide range of positions—ensuring timely onboarding while maintaining cost efficiency—and oversee all aspects of employee relations from contract management to grievance resolution. You will also coordinate compensation structures alongside payroll accuracy by working hand-in-hand with finance teams. Performance management will be under your remit as you design appraisal systems and identify training needs to nurture talent at every level. Additionally you will supervise general administration services such as reception security cleaning drivers canteen facilities ensuring smooth factory operations. Success in this role requires a commitment to continuous improvement strong stakeholder collaboration meticulous attention to compliance detail and a passion for fostering an inclusive supportive workplace culture.
- Develop comprehensive HR strategies, policies, procedures and annual plans that are aligned with business goals and headquarters directives.
- Advise senior management on organisational structure, manpower planning, job descriptions, grading systems, career paths and succession planning to ensure optimal workforce alignment.
- Drive standardisation of HR processes across departments and sites while supporting change-management initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for management, professional, technical, production, sales and support positions by partnering with department heads on hiring priorities and onboarding processes.
- Manage relationships with recruitment agencies and sourcing channels; monitor recruitment costs and time-to-fill metrics to optimise talent acquisition.
- Ensure all HR practices comply with Vietnam labour regulations as well as company policies; manage labour contracts, disciplinary cases, grievances and termination processes with sensitivity.
- Coordinate labour-related inspections, audits and documentation requirements; provide guidance on sensitive workplace issues to management.
- Oversee compensation structures including salary reviews, bonus programmes, allowances and employee welfare; coordinate closely with Finance/Payroll teams for accurate statutory deductions and payments.
- Manage timekeeping systems including attendance tracking, overtime approvals, leave management and employee data controls with clear segregation of duties.
- Implement performance appraisal systems; identify training needs; prepare annual development plans; strengthen leadership capabilities through talent review and succession planning.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Human Resources Business Administration Law Psychology or related field is required for this position.
- Minimum 8-12 years of progressive HR experience including at least 3-5 years in an HR Manager or equivalent leadership role within manufacturing or industrial environments.
- Solid understanding of Vietnam labour regulations labour contracts employee relations social insurance statutory compliance is essential for effective practice.
- Hands-on experience managing recruitment compensation benefits payroll timekeeping performance management training organisation development is highly valued.
- Ability to handle sensitive employee issues confidentially using sound judgement empathy and discretion when resolving workplace matters.
- Strong analytical thinking project-management stakeholder-management skills are necessary for driving process improvements across multiple departments.
- Excellent communication skills in English are required; Vietnamese language proficiency is essential for local employee coordination and authority interaction.
- Proven track record in workforce planning talent review succession planning retention initiatives digitalisation of HRIS systems reporting processes is preferred.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including Finance Operations Legal regional/HQ HR teams demonstrates collaborative approach.
- Leadership competencies such as business partnering labour relations interpersonal skills problem-solving confidentiality are critical for success.
