Senior Legal Manager - Energy MNC

A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Legal Manager to support its Energy operations in Vietnam. This role offers the opportunity to advise on complex commercial matters, sustainability-driven projects, and multi-jurisdictional legal issues while working closely with regional and cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in contract negotiation, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, and legal risk management.

What you'll do:

• Provide legal support on energy projects, including regulatory and commercial matters.
• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements, supply contracts, and project documents.
• Manage compliance matters and liaise with government authorities and external legal counsel when required.
• Support company secretarial, governance, and corporate legal activities across Vietnam operations.
• Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks, disputes, strategic projects, and business initiatives.
• Maintain proper legal documentation and ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

What you bring:

• Law degree with solid experience in corporate/commercial legal matters within multinational companies or reputable law firms.
• Strong exposure to contract negotiation, compliance, regulatory matters, and risk management.
• Experience in sustainability, energy, or project-driven industries is advantageous.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills in both English and Vietnamese.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with regional and cross-functional teams.
• Commercial mindset with strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
